Margaret Kidd

Margaret Kidd is the Access and Electronic Records Archivist at Virginia Commonwealth University, Tompkins-McCaw Library. Her responsibilities include processing collections, both analog and digital, maintaining the collection management system and internal documentation, creating exhibits, and providing reference assistance. Prior to her position at VCU, Kidd was a senior project archivist at the Virginia Historical Society. Kidd is a member of MARAC, serving the organization in various capacities, and SAA. She received a BA in history from Emory & Henry College, an MA in American history from the University of Richmond, and an MS in Information Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She also completed the Digital Archives Specialist Certificate program in 2016. Kidd’s research interests include the history of Virginia, religion, women, and medicine.

Jodi Koste

Jodi Koste is the University Archivist for Virginia Commonwealth University and Head of Special Collections and Archives at the Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences in the VCU Libraries. She holds a BA and MA degrees in history from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She is an active member of MARAC, SAA, ALHHS–the Archivists and Librarians in the History of the Health Sciences, and the American Association for the History of Medicine where she serves as executive secretary. Her research interests include nursing history, Civil War medicine, and archival education.

Susan Riggs

Susan Riggs was formerly the Frances Lightfoot Robb Special Collections Librarian at Swem Library, College of William & Mary. She is the author of 21st Virginia Infantry and of several biographical sketches of notable Virginians. Susan is a member of SAA, MARAC, the Southern Historical Association and is a board member of the Williamsburg Historic Records Association. She has been involved with Virginia Heritage since it began as a task force in 1997. Susan received a BA in history from the Westhampton College, University of Richmond and an MA in American history from the College of William & Mary. Susan retired from W&M in 2017 and has since returned to W&M Libraries as a Special Collections Assistant.
